Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance

Perform routine accounting and finance activities for the company.

Prepare and deliver the monthly reporting package.

Prepare bank reports related to borrowing base and debt covenants.

Manage accurate reporting of fixed assets and the lease fleet.

Document transactions, create exemplary workpapers, and maintain data retention systems.

Provide financial analysis and modeling by creating spreadsheets to forecast future financial performance based on historical and projected data.
Operational Support

Support operations by ensuring effective inventory tracking.
Process Improvement & Systems Implementation

Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend or implement changes.

Lead the implementation of new systems and software to enhance efficiency.

Streamline existing processes and procedures for optimal performance.
Team Building and Collaboration

Assess, identify and prioritize key skills for success, experience, and professional/personal qualities needed for our team, in training the current team and hiring new talent for the company.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance
-
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, prefer some experience in public accounting/audit
-
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling (creating a spreadsheet to forecast a company's future financial performance based on historical and projected data)

Proven ability to prepare useful, well-presented workpapers and maintain robust data retention systems

Experience with process improvement and systems implementation (ERP or financial software)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across departments

Senior Accountant - Hybrid
​
$100-$110K annual salary plus bonus
Hybrid - WFH Monday and Friday, In office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
9/80 - half day off every Friday

Large privately owned Houston based company is seeking a Senior Accountant for its Corporate Accounting team in West Houston.
​
Responsibilities:

Perform general accounting duties - journal entries, reconciliations, month end close.
-
Build and maintain financial reports, documentation, support for transactions and workpapers.
-
Analyze variances and research anomolies in financial data and reports.
-
Prepare entries and record accruals, roll forwards, etc.
-
Work with the team to complete month-end and year end duties and tasks.

Maintain the benefit accounting entries like receivables and PTO entries.

Answer audit requests during annual audit.

Coordinate and collaborate with other corporate departments and with business units regarding Accounting and Finance matters.
Requirements:​

Salary - $110-120K
Hybrid role - WFH 3 days a week and in office 2 days a week

Company in NW Houston area is seeking an AP Manager for a unique role that manages full cycle Accounts Payable and also works with the treasury function in reporting and cash management. This role is equally reponsible for Corporate Cash Management / Treasury and owning the full cycle AP functions and team supervision.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full cycle AP processes and the AP team.

Maintain vendor information and operate AP with strong internal controls i.e. segregation of duties

Oversee payment authorizations, approvals, limits and procedures.

Perform cash flow reporting, forecasting and monitor to ensure adequate cash flow to support operational and corporate financial transactions.

Collaborate and recommend cash optimazation strategies.

Oversee banking operatiions and relationships.

Maintain user access to bank accounts, portals and processes.
