Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Successful Houston based company is seeking an experienced FP&A professional for its corporate Accounting and Finance team. The role reports to the CFO and works directly with the corporate Accounting and Finance team, owning budgeting, forecasting, management/board reporting and lead the financial activities for acquisitions and integration.

Asset Manager

Fleet Reliability, Maintenance and Compliance

Asset Manager oversees maintenance programs and supports the safe, reliable operation of the company's fleet vehicles/assets. This role combines maintenance management, facilities maintenance management, compliance oversight, and team leadership. This role will coordinate work across maintenance teams, monitor asset conditions, and use maintenance records to guide priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, repair procedures, and industrial maintenance for fleet of assets - vehicles & heavy trailers

  • Supervise and support maintenance teams; assign work, coordinate schedules, and manage facilities maintenance teams.

  • Coordinate timely repairs and compliance activities while helping employees work safely and keep fleet assets dependable, ensuring asset reliability.

  • Ensure proper repair plans are followed by vetted shops/vendors and internal technicians; track repairs, verify maintenance and inspections, etc.

  • Reconcile inventory at each job site, manage movement between job sites

  • Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA and TRC; track and report on safety and compliance.

  • Supervise the maintenance technician staff and track their respective assignments, assessing performance and development.

  • Travel to various job sites and company locations, in Texas and nationally.

Qualifications

  • Experience in asset tracking and management, maintenance, compliance, operational leadership, and staff supervision.

  • Mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Experience conducting investigations of damage, failures, and recurring issues.

  • Familiarity with DOT inspections.

  • Clear communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety regulations.

  • Must be able to travel as frequently as necessary to job sites in Texas and nationally (weekday travel up to 50% at times, may be cyclical)

Growing Houston area public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor.

The firm is located on the North side of Houston, most clients are mid-sized public or privately held companies.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide audit / attestation / assurance engagement services and support, including: planning, oversight/execution, work paper preparation and review, mentor staff level auditors on primarily privately held mid-sized public and private companies in the Houston area.

  • Maintain relationship with clients and offer consultative guidance

  • Work within your audit team with peers including Staff, Seniors, Managers and Partners.

  • Review Staff level audit work

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA eligibility required, license preferred or progress towards completing the exam

  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting external audit

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
